Are you pro-life or pro-choice?

See Lauren, that's better. Only one 'asshole' in your post, ... keep going down that path and one day people might actually wanna invite you to their home! To socialize with the other guests and stuff. Courteousness is the key to people's understanding, not meaningless word husks like 'dumbfucks this' or 'shitheads that'. I hope you drew a valuable lesson in interpersonal communication out of this thread! [I'm being sarcastic]
Lauren, 1 nit to pick... the unalienable right to life is not in the bill of rights, it is declared in the Declaration of Independence. If you have to give someone a piece of paper to convince them that should be allowed to live though, I suggest it is not worth the effort.
I'm not sure we will ever be able to convince people to stop killing their children. Especially since the medical industry makes so much money off it.
p.s. go to church. you would be surprised at the number of people in church that don't believe in treating a tiny human with less care than a petri dish of mold.
Anyway, I don't mean to make light of this situation, and I suppose I should show more compassion for the poor women who are being raped by their uncles by the thousands (if you believe in the b.s statistics). The point is, you are not going to win any converts to your side if you keep spreading lies about the right to life.
Thankfully, I have found this thread and considered both sides arguments with an open mind. After more self centered narcissistic consideration, I am now starting to believe that it might be easier for me to swing to the baby killer side. I mean, what is the downside? It's not likely that I will get pregnant anyway. But why take a chance?
LOL. If you get your morals from the internet, you are going to have a wild and crazy life! Who's with me? Whattya say we open up an online abortion clinic. (but only for 'truely needy')
Regardless, you cannot win a debate of this nature, the best you can hope for is to say your peace and take your personal moral high ground.

The real issue is there are too many abuses with the abortion system.

One such abuse is that in New York city, there have been numbers thrown out around the 40% of all pregnancies are aborted rather than live births. Clearly, not all of these children are the results of incest, rape, or other sexual abuses, I'm sure a large percentage of these are just the nature that I detest, using abortion as birth control.

This is the perfect place for an intelligent, measured discussion on this very well worn topic. Only thing that's missing is some Hitler references - then we'll really be getting somewhere. Anyone care to explore Hitler's views on this? REMINDER: Hitler references are done best if you accuse your interlocutor of being a Nazi and anachronistically responsible for the Holocaust. Don't miss your chance!
I think #36 is the most correct post so far. :) Nothing good can come of discussing charged topics like this online, especially on this forum.
xD #37, I love reading 'em though :P Debates about sensitive topics are fun to read.

PS: Bill of Rights ain't really working...

#35... Nice source lol
Projection is everywhere! Can you believe what the first sentence in #35 says?

"Regardless, you cannot win a debate of this nature, the best you can hope for is to say your peace and take your personal moral high ground."

*sigh*
