Hello, I would like to have a notification when lichess has a new update, we can have a toggle on and off button for people who don't want to get a notification, I normally use PC so it's very rare for me to scroll down to see updates, so I would prefer to get a notification when lichess has a new update.
Hmm sounds nice if we get to know about Lichess' latest updates via messages but there is no need of additional buttons, it can come in our normal notifications and we can have an option to subscribe to it or unsubscribe. However since they've put it in daily updates I don't think so we need these things now.

speaking of notifications, the red badges may be counting them, but if all from inbox, then checking on one, will disappear all the others instantly.. (when many inbox individual or maybe also possibly forum pings, which is rarer).
