- Can checkmate a king, if a pawn is obstructing - Cannot checkmate a king (except promotion)
- 3.33 pts [read post #18 (tpr is always true)]. - 0.87 pts [(taken randomly) actually calculated]
- Can move backwards - Can't move backwards

The bishop's pair is known to be strong.
However also a single bishop generally dominates a single knight.

Fischer called the difference between the bishop and the knight the minor exchange.
Think of BxN as sacrificing the minor exchange like RxN sacrifices the exchange.

Do not trade your bishop for his knight unless you have good reason.
