Puzzle 12787

To lose this puzzle because you don't take the pawn before taking the queen seems a bit harsh. Perhaps a, "Good Move, but..." might be OK, but not a loss. Q-B5 also works, and perhaps even better as it can easily pick up the bishop and a rook, in addition to the Queen, in the continuation.

And as a general comment, a loss because of taking a queen with no danger in the continuation to your side and incurring a loss is harsh attitude. In a game a capture of this kind will almost always result in a resignation and checkmate or resignation, the result is the same. Now if the capture of the queen would lead to a disastrous continuation then a loss is appropriate.

Anyway, just my take on it.
