First and foremost, your not "noobish." Given that fact that your're rated 1900+ here on Lichess, you're AT LEAST a 1500 ELO player OTB. That's advanced beginner. Give credit where credit is due.

Second, @DaanNoordenbos we can learn a lot our losses, but also our victories. Plus, it's more fun to post your wins. :-P

Here are some points on the game w/o too much depth:

- f5 on Move 3

Very weakening. The computer does not write off the move as an inaccuracy, but the evaluation shift from -0.4 in black's favor to +0.1 in white's. In general, the f-pawn is the "forget about it pawn." Do not touch it. There are better ways to defend e4, i.e. Nf6, defending with development.

- exf on Move 4

The computer tells you that this is an inaccuracy. Why? Because taking on f3 expedites white's development. Better (if you don't like the computer's suggestion of e5) would be Nf6 simply developing and holding the e-pawn's position.

- e4 on Move 9

Simply castle and avoid the very strong move Bb5+, displacing the king. Development is key. Focus on getting your pieces out and into the game before making pawn advances. e4 has the added disadvantage of weakening your central control of dark squares. (e.g. f4 and d4). Always think at least one minute before making a pawn move. Remember: pawns cannot move backwards; move them with care.

- Qe8 on Move 11

The pin on the knight is not an issue right now. No need to break it. Just simply develop. This maneuver of the queen is more beneficial in, say, the Dutch defense where the queen jettisons over to the king-side via the h5-e8 diagonal. Here the queen is just misplaced. Developing the knight to d7 prepares to capture back with a knight in the event of Bxf6. The knight on f6 has the vital role of preventing g4!, cracking open the king-side.

- b6 on move 13

Another waste of time. The bishop already has a door open! Hence the computer's recommendation Bd7. No need to waste time playing b6 and at the same time weakening the light squares.

- Bc5 on Move 14

Why aren't you developing?!?!

The rest of the game from Move 17 on does not need further explanation. Your opponent did not capitalize on the mistakes above and instead through away any chance of winning in the middle game where he/she blundered multiple times. You also made some tactical errors past Move 17, but those can be weeded out yourself using Stockfish.

In summary: You need to work on your opening. The middle game went fine because your opponent handed you pieces on a silver platter. With the opening you played, the result should have been a win for black. Reflect on the points above and focus heavily on the first 12 moves in the next game you play.

Hope this helps.

Oh btw nice 27 average centi-pawn loss. At our level. aiming for any centi-pawn loss lower than 30 is ideal. Brilliant! :-)
@Masquerade
Very nice analysis, i like the way you explain my bad moves :) very helpful

tbh my rating would be about 2100 + on here due to my good tactical instincts, ive beaten many stronger players, however, i lack two things, experience and a base understanding of the openings as you said :)

although i have been improving in that regard, many openings i play out ok, but not all as in the above example.

although i had never played the following pening before en.lichess.org/oEwtL8xk i think i did alright here

as for centipawn, yes, i am almost obssesed with accuracy lol en.lichess.org/n6wii82j altho i have a long way to go before i can do that regularly ^^

anyways, i really liked the way you explain things, i think players on similar level can explain things to eachother a lot better than say a gm would to our level :)
oh and regarding my rating, i berserk a lot, even when im tired, went down from ~2100 to this lol
@Dragon-Lord Ah I see. Do you play OTB? If so, what is your OTB rating?

No problem w/ the analysis. I learn a lot from looking at other's games as well.
Not officially, just with friends and fam :) but i am thinking of joining a club and pursue a title maybe eventually if possible.

Yes indeed, i recommend watching elite GM games, you will learn to play more accurately ^^
