Lichess restart causes illusion that opponent has not moved, but "they" have... clock runs down!

This occurred today in the latest version of Firefox...

Lichess glitched for a moment during its "Restart". Then it appeared my opponent was still consider their move. But in actual fact, they had moved and my clock ran down.

This is a longstanding bug, as i recall. How can it STILL be happening?????

Something similar also took place in my match. My opponent's clock was ticking and s/he even went offline for couple of times and after few minutes their time ended but when I re-opened lichess, my match history is portraying that I lost the match as my time ended. I hope the developers do something about such glitches.
I've been on this site, which I LOVE, for something like 6 years. I think this has been happening THE WHOLE TIME!

How in the world can this not be fixed? I can't recall precisely, but I think I must have lost 10 or more games due to this BAD BUG.
Are you ("ahcr" and "chronicalien") both using Firefox? or is this happening with other browsers also?
Same thing happened to me.
I think the message “Lichess will restart in x min” is not optimal. I would add:
“Refresh your browser in 20, 19, 18 ... “

Just stating that something will happen, without adding what the player needs to do is not player-friendly...
when you get the notification that lichess will restart dont start a new game and pause the tounament

I didn't start the game after viewing the notification. The whole thing is that the notification popped in between the match.
