Allowing non critical mistakes in puzzles

This is something that annoys me in puzzles. Sometimes in a position I allow the king to go back to his previous square, and the only way to go back into the correct line is to step back myself and chose a better move in my next move.

Obviously I could not do that three times otherwise there would be perpetual. Yet, it should be allowed to make this mistake once or even twice, since it is exactly what happens in real play conditions.

Maybe a warning could be shown saying "beware of perpetual or something".

Here is an example:

Instead of 3... Qg8# I played 3...Qf7+?!

The only possible move for black was 4. Kh8 but then again I can fix things by playing 4...Qe8+ 5. Kg7 Qg8#
Meh... nevermind in this case there was 4. Qg8# anyway so that's a bad example.
